SENIOR TEACHER

(Main Professional Scale plus Management Allowance Level 4 Payment)

Job Description

Main Duties

1) Member of the Senior Management Team
2) Responsibility for all Assessment, Recording and Reporting policy and practice, specifically:
· Administration of internal and external exams at Key Stage 4
· Key Stage 3 assessment procedures
· Exam timetable and invigilation cover
· Management of value added analyses:Yellis/ MiDYis
· Management of Record of Achievement/Progress Files
· Line Management responsibility for the school's
reporting procedures(line management of Assistant ARR Co-ordinator)


Other Duties

1) To assist with the day to day management of students and to be responsible for a small caseload of students with learning and/or behavioural difficulties.

Ø A secure knowledge and understanding of the principles of Assessment, Recording and Reporting and, in particular, the Assessment for Learning agenda

Teaching Commitment
